This was a gift for my son’s 10th birthday. He loves animals and insects, etc. his feedback is “it is cool”. It was a great opportunity to work with his grandfather to put it together. It is a well engineered piece. I chose the hand crank version so it would be timeless. Only criticism is one of the springs had less tension than the other, so the wing movement was not perfectly even. This was remedied with a small piece of electrical tape. Overall a great, unique gift.
