Engine Start Procedure:
(1) Insert the emergency flameout cable insert into the flameout switch slot.
(2) Insert the fuel inlet pipe inlet plug into the fuel tank socket.
(3) Insert the nozzle plug into the tubing socket on the base of the outboard.
(4) Unscrew the vent screw on the fuel tank cap counterclockwise.
(5) Squeeze the hand core pump by hand several times until the oil pump is full of fuel and feel the hand pump hard.
(6) Move the shift lever to the “Neutral” position.
(7) Turn the throttle lever to the “start” position, ie the start mark on the handle is aligned with the arm mark.
(8) When the engine is cold, pull out the choke lever to increase the concentration of the combustible mixture and make the engine easier to start.
(9) After the handle is started by hand, the claw of the starter is engaged with the flywheel, and the start rope is quickly pulled out to start the engine.
(10) After the engine is started, the engine should be warmed up for 2 to 3 minutes at an idle speed, and then the choke levers are all pushed to the initial position.
(11) After the engine is started, it should be noted that the cooling water is steadily flowing out. If there is no water or intermittent water, the reason should be stopped.
(12) During the driving, the flameout rope should be hung on the wrist or belt to ensure the safety of the boat.
Note: The outboard motor has been run-in and commissioned for 4 hours before leaving the factory. The four-stroke outboard oil tank can only be filled with pure gasoline. The oil tank should use four-stroke special oil. The oil should be filled according to the scale on the oil scale. Check if the oil is sufficient before using the machine.
