Takes me back to being a kid when I had a glass globe with much smaller version of this solar generator. Very cool watching it spin. Great for kids old enough to take care of it.

A most excellent device
I love it. it is a must have if you like anything of this nature. you can have it sitting in a room motionless and then have the sun come through the window and it starts whirling around the moment the sun hits it. you can also shine an incandescent flash light on it and it runs equally well. if you want to use an led light on it it better be a very high powered one. this is one of the reasons i like it so much was i was able to prove out some theories about incandescent vs. LED lighting.
