First, I need to state that I emailed the vendor about this issue twice. The first email was totally ignored. The second was answered(?) with gibberish that had no relation to the problem.
That said, while the coil does work (i.e.: produces the desired spark) the audio input not only does not work, but it almost destroyed the source that I plugged into it (using the supplied cable). The audio input has high voltage on it that burned my fingers when I touched the free end it while it was plugged into the coil.
That's supposed to be an audio input, not a high voltage output.
DANGEROUS, UNUSABLE due to safety issues.
