I ordered two of these devices, I think they are fantastic ideas and work slower in poor light and faster in better light. I like to see the illustration of the power of solar cells and enjoy it spinning away in the window! One problem is that they are not balanced and they are not exactly the same. They clatter and make a knocking noise at certain RPMs. Other then that I would buy and recumbent others buy this product! Very worth the money! I tried to put 4 stars because of the balance but....

Just the sort of thing I purchase fr the grand children to stretch their minds to the wonders of science and to entertain them in the process. The device is extremely well made and attractive enough to set on an executive's desk.

Cool toy!
Takes me back to being a kid when I had a glass globe with much smaller version of this solar generator. Very cool watching it spin. Great for kids old enough to take care of it.
