Jox The Fox (Hackney, GB)
A unique engine from the bundle!

This is a Manson Engine. Not to be confused with a Stirling Engine. A Manson engine has only 3-4 moving parts and can rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise unlike a Stirling engine. Manson engines are open-cycle systems that exchange the cold air from the atmosphere to the hot displacer tube, whereas a Stirling is a sealed closed-cycle system.

She doesn’t go very fast, but she runs nonstop. The clue is in the fairly cool to the touch metal cylinder.

A great display piece for the inquisitive mind!
