I am stunned. I did not realize that this engine had been increased in size to almost double its size when I ordered it up. I thpught at first there had been a mistake made, but to my delight after investigation, read there was no error made. This engine is truly a work of art. It is a brute to be sure. I was very surpised that the exhaust pipes were 3D printed instead of formed of metal. I have yet to decide how to best mount this gorgeous piece of work. The quality is outstanding. Some research has been necessary as to running as the supplied manual, although illustrated and states various specifications, does not really delve into specifics. I wish that it came with a generator to fill the hole that is very apparant on the forward part of the crankcase... I am delighted otherwise and can assure others this is a true find in terms of realism and value.

Haven't hooked it up yet, but the craftsmanship looks amazing.

I enjoyed building the sterling engine. All the pieces were nicely cast and cleaned up for assembly. The instructions were nicely done and easy to follow. The only difficulty I had with the instructions was the amount of wick stick out.
It came with a few extra parts which is good because I lost one small rubber washer. It is hard to put it on the rod with your fingers because they are huge compared to the tiny rubber washer.
I may take it apart and paint a few of the cast pieces. I will be adding my own belt / small motor so I can light up an LED.

Very nice and it runs. I wish the ignition timing was easier to set.

Arrived today, well packed. Beautifully made model. Not started yet but oiled and greased where required. Thorough inspection to check everything. All good so far.

Everything went smoothly, fun build only issue I ran into was the hood doesn't want to stay closed but I can live with that

Got this on Holiday sale and I must admit well done from shipping to engine build could not be happier highly recomended

Haven't used the pack at the moment, but find that the quality of components is excellent.
l have been using the Single cylinder start pack and I found that using a two cell Lipo. did not give a positive spin up and the motor and esc got a bit warm.
Switching to an eight cell Nimh battery gave an almost instant start with no apparent heating by touch felt
Using my Mega Meter I got these test figures.
Standing current 0.40A
Possibly glow plug current?
Maximum start current 21.22A
Maximum start wattage 193.5W
