Beware of Scams: Protect Yourself from Fake CISON V8 Engine Purchases

🔍 The Issue: Counterfeit CISON V8 Products Flooding the Market

Recently, we’ve received reports of fraudulent sellers misusing Enginediy’s CISON V8 product images to promote low-quality, plastic knockoff engines. These scammers lure buyers with promises of a high-performance metal engine but deliver a worthless plastic replica instead.

As shown in the figure:

💡 Why This Matters to You

Wasting money: Paying tens of dollars only to receive a cheap, unusable toy.

Safety Risks: Plastic engines lack durability and can overheat or break during use, posing hazards.

False Advertising: Scammers exploit Enginediy’s reputation to deceive customers.

🔎 How to Spot a Scam

Check the Seller’s Credibility

✅ Official Enginediy Store: Buy directly from Enginediy’s website or authorized retailers.

❌ Suspicious Sellers: Avoid third-party platforms with no reviews or unverified sellers.

Compare Prices

🚩 If the price seems too good to be true, it probably is! The CISON V8 is a precision-engineered metal engine—not a $20 plastic toy.

Examine Product Images

🔍 Look for high-resolution images showing real metal components (e.g., aluminum alloy crankcase, steel shafts).

❌ Blurry or stock photos? Red flag! Scammers often reuse generic images.
Read Reviews

⭐ Authentic buyers leave detailed feedback. Check for complaints about plastic parts or false advertising.

🛠️ What to Do If You’ve Been Scammed

Contact the Seller Immediately

Demand a refund or replacement. If ignored, escalate to the platform’s customer service.
Report the Scam

File a complaint with your payment provider (e.g., PayPal, credit card company) to dispute the charge.

Alert local authorities or consumer protection agencies

Warn Others

Share your experience on forums, social media, or review sites to prevent further victims.

🌟 Why Choose the Genuine CISON V8?

Premium Build: Made from high-quality metal materials, it is durable.

Real Power: Delivers smooth operation with a realistic engine sound.

Trusted Brand: Enginediy is known for quality, innovation, and customer support.

i also got scammed by Rivashop.us. They kept trying to make me keep it after I said NO. Offered me a 50% refund. I said No. Paypal to my rescue with a complete refund. I then purchased my engine from EngineDIY. Can not wait for it to arrive.

Yes, I got scammed, big lump of rough plastic, straight in the bin, no more internet purchases for me.
