It works very well!
I installed it on the Cison L4-175 OHV engine that I use for my Hotrod project and I use it to power the radiator electric fan... it's perfect! Even on the aesthetic side it is a small masterpiece.
Only criticism: a slightly thicker electrical cable could have been used. This is really subtle and delicate.
I have fitted the generator to my Cison L4-175 OHV engine. I made my own top bracket as I felt the one which came with it was too long and I used the supplied lower bracket. I haven’t run it up yet but the design of the generator is superb and looks just like a real alternator, hats off to Cison for a fantastic piece of work. Cison has informed me that the 3 wires coming from the generator can go on any of the 3 input side of the circuit board. The output side is marked + & - keep up the good work Cison I’m looking forward to the gearbox arriving.
It's really beautiful and realistic..
My idea, after installing it, is to power the radiator fan on my Ford Hotrod... :-)
Looks great and makes the engine look more realistic but needs to be regulated as it can produce up to 20 volts, impressive for such a small alternator.
