Awesome engine! Machining quality is excellent, I am running my engine on coleman camping fuel with the recommended 25: 1 oil mix and it runs great. This engine started up right out of the box with no issues. I give this engine 5 stars.

Came in when promised but shipping from China takes a while. Kit was very detailed, and instructions were good enough for my 18 year old Grandson to assemble it in about 4 or 5 hours. He now has a much better understanding of auto engines. My mission accomplished.

Very nice engine, good runner good Finnish. Once the fuel is through starts easily with the pull cord and even started it by hand. It can only get better with running. *****

The Trent 900 is an easy build and only took a little over an hour to complete. Although made from PLA, the 3D printed parts look to be made of metal. All of the parts fit perfectly and there was no trimming, gluing or painting required. The lighted exhaust and motorized engine worked as designed on the first try. I am very pleased with this kit and look forward to new similar releases of high-bypass turbofans...perhaps RR XWB-84 or -97, the GE90 turbofans or even the smaller GE LEAP or P&W Geared Turbofans?

This Metal Beam, Steam and Boiler engine was fun to put together. Not one problem. I ordered the set with the Generator Scene. The Gen scene was backordered, but Lucas sent me the engine first and told me the Gen would be early September. I received the Gen Scene exactly as I was told and there wasn't any extra shipping charge.
I assembled the steam engine a month ago and it's been running very well.
I bolted the Generator Scene to the main engine assembly (I drilled the holes and had small bolts), but I'm having trouble keeping it running. The belt that is included is too long to do this (I just wanted one solid assembly instead of the two) so I've been experimenting with various rubber bands etc. Possibly there's too much tension and I haven't hit on the right combo or the thicker oil (STP) I just applied is too heavy.
Either way, it's still fun to tinker with which is half the enjoyment!

The 1140 is the most detailed model I have gotten yet! It runs very well and has the latest ignition module that only takes one battery. The details are outstanding and it makes a striking piece to run and display.

This was brilliant. I enjoyed every minute of building it and after a hiccup (my fault) of not putting the drive belt on the right size pulley it started and ran like a dream. Absolutely love it.

Certainly helps to have this to get things started

EngineDIY saw my initial one star review, they contacted me and sent out replacement parts to fix the issues I had with the cyclotron.

Its all good now and works as it should.

Very nicely made. Fun to amaze people with. Everyone needs at least one of these.

I received the engine kit very quickly and it did come with the full color instructions it went together well However once it was fully assembled it didn’t have any compression I found that the valves didn’t have any clearance I ended up sanding about 10 thousandths off of the lash caps that corrected the issue. I purchased the gas conversion kit and the engine runs well however the “new version” CDI unit didn’t last more than a couple minutes so I can’t really say what the longevity of this little engine is on gas enginediy did stand behind the failed unit and has shipped out a new unit

1. Lubricant item 066 not supplied. I used sewing machine oil. I hope lubricant is supplied with my intended purchase of my next engine!
2. Assembly step 12 a real challenge due to tight threads in crankcase and awkward placement of screws. I was afraid that screw might break off in crankcase.
