Exhaust pipe*2
Bought the Enjomor V8 exhausts received the tube headers, extractors here in Australia, well packed with very nice looking mufflers, two exhaust gaskets and socket head mounting screws. Very nice 3D printed aluminium units which I have not fitted yet as I am still waiting on bits, purchased elsewhere separately, to mount and wire the engine to the factory base. First impressions good, measured the lengths of the primary tubes and they are all different, I'll make some same length ones in future from hopefully stainless. The 3d units are symmetrical LH to RH, so you can point them up or down but not symmetrical back to front when I measured and drew up the gaskets to make some spares. The primary tube size OD is 12mm nominal with a nominal 1mm wall. Collector outlet 14.25 nominal with 2mm nominal wall. Haven't done the maths on theoretical lengths but could be close enough for a not highly tuned engine. The interesting part is that the exhaust flange has a 7.5mm round hole for each exhaust tube inlet and the gaskets have a approx 8.25mm square opening suggesting a restriction in the pipes . I haven't taken off the original exhaust to measure the exhaust ports and checked the shape and size but I think I can see some port matching in my future. Happy with the exhausts and a good buy thank you Enginediy and would recommend.
This is a realistic design of exhaust system to replace the pathetic fitting by Enjoymor. the system just needed the fixing holes sizing to suit the bolts and the silencer worm drive clamp replacing with a stronger pipe clamp. The porting is not a perfect match so there is scope for further improvements.
