CISON LS-52 V8 Engine Installation Notes & Pre-Order Free Parts/Firmware Update

Dear CISON fans and model enthusiasts,

Shipments of the CISON LS-52 V8 engine model are now delivered to customers one after another. Since the original printed manual missed several key installation details, we release this official notice including revised assembly tips, free replacement accessories and firmware troubleshooting solutions. Please read carefully before assembly and commissioning.

1. Shipment Schedule for Replacements

The upgrade packages will be shipped automatically next week. A tracking number will be sent to you via email after dispatch. We have confirmed your information, and no service ticket is required.

2. Supplementary Installation Instructions & Manual Revisions

Flywheel & Starter Gear Installation

Apply lubricant to the one-way bearing during assembly to reduce wear during long-term operation. We are developing upgraded harder and more durable adapters, which will be provided to all users free of charge in the future.

Sealing Rings for Cylinder Block & Cylinder Head

Add 1 piece of 5x1.1 sealing ring to the cylinder block water channel and 2 small sealing rings on the cylinder head. Refer to attached images for exact mounting positions (missing in Page 38 of the original manual).

Valve Oil Seal

The standard installation diagram for valve oil seal on Page 37 has been updated for clear reference.

Cam Timing Gear Screws

We suggest installing 4 dedicated small gaskets for the four fixing screws of cam timing gear. This prevents the gear from being pressed too deep and rubbing against screws.

Note: This is an optional auxiliary part for beginners, not mandatory modification.

Crankshaft Flange Nut

Retighten the crankshaft flange lock nut after receiving the unit. You may also apply high-strength thread locker to avoid loosening during running.

Camshaft Bearings Installation

Mount 2 dedicated gaskets on both sides before installing camshaft bearings to prevent offset and push rod collision.

Keep a 0.3mm gap between bearings and camshaft. You can use thread locker for fixation or directly install with our supplied gaskets (see attached pictures).

3. Free Replacement Accessories & Firmware Tools

We provide the following items free of charge for qualified users:

*Exclusively for 1st batch pre-orders. 

*Mass-produced in-stock units have fixed this issue and do not require re-flashing. Flashing tools for future upgrades will be sold separately later.
