The TECHING 1/10 Turbofan Engine - It Has Arrived!
After waiting several months for production, the parcel arrived safely this morning. DHL Express is pretty amazing. The parcel took only a few days to arrive in Australia. Even the box it comes in is spectacular and smells of quality.
I have not yet started the build, but have read through the comprehensive instruction manual. This is very impressive, but it is quality that I have learned to expect from TECHING.
I will post further reviews as I build this engine. I cannot wait to get started!

Great jet engine waiting for the next one
A enjoyable build I would recommend this model , looks great and works well the metal components and quality is impressive , the only item I would like to be different is the throttle control sound If it would of matched the rpm of the engine and not playing in a repeat loop of starting and accelerating then starting over automatically from the beginning but rather the sound staying steady with the throttle position

Looks fantastic, construction can be tedious
I love the finished product, and I enjoyed most of my time building it. I must say that some of the angles at which the small screws and nuts must be tightened will present a challenge to those with large hands or limited range of motion in the wrist. I found that using pliers was a great help, although it slowed me down greatly in fastening the dozens of screws you'll need to attach the various subassemblies and outer housing sections of the engine. Some of the predrilled holes may be smaller than intended due to the painting/powder coating that was likely done after the pieces were cut and drilled. I had to leave more than a couple screws half-tightened because they were beginning to strip (very weak metal screws). One of them snapped the 1.5mm screwdriver provided, but fortunately I had another to use.
I'd also like to advise buyers that certain parts in the manual appear different than how they are manufactured and provided. Had to double-take more than once for that. Some parts are also bagged together and are not labeled individually. Lastly, I do wish the audio clip for the engine spin-up were either longer or did not loop at all. It's a great idea, but it sounds pretty cheesy when it loops every 3 seconds or so while the engine spins. Maybe that's just me.
I really wanted to give this one 5-stars, but I simply cannot due to less than expected quality in some of the material, tools, and questionable assembly instructions/design. Overall - good value for the early bird price I paid. Looks very nice.
