I'm writing in regard to the purchase of the Teching 4-Cyl. L-4 diesel all metal engine kit that I purchased and received back in June of this year 2023. Want to say how much I've been pleased with, and enjoyed the assembly of this kit. It's very accurate in the manufacture and was enjoyable in the putting together of the small parts. As I'm a 73 year old man, with glasses, it did take more time for me to find and pick up the nuts, washers and screws when they hit the floor. I knew it would be part of it, so it was just part of the assembly. Fortunately, I was a machine operator, then a motorcycle fabricator/mechanic for 8 years prior to a Licensed Plumbing Contractor for 20 years. It all helped the mechanics of things like this kit.

high quality model of a diesel engine. Realistic movemnet of the pistons and the valvetrain.
Takes a while to put it together because of a number of tiny parts. But with help of the clear manual it is no problem. Comes with a USB cable to charge the battery.

Très beau model, je ne vais pas trop vite à le monter. Petite observation, page 13 du manuel, pour ma part j'ai limé très légèrement l'épaisseur du pignon 054 car une fois serré la vis104, possibilité blocage du pignon pompe.
Very nice model, I'm not going too fast to mount it. Small observation, page 13 of the manual, for my part I very slightly filed the thickness of pinion 054 because once tightened screw 104, possibility of blocking the pump pinion.

This was my second teching engine from EngineDIY and a real joy. The detail is amazing and, although a bit challenging at times, was a lot of fun to build. The instructions were always clear, and the illustrations were very well done and good confidence builders. The way the parts were in numbered cells in foam ensured that I was always getting the correct part in play. If one can follow instructions and has a reasonable level of dexterity, I don't see why anyone would not be able to successfully build one of these models.

I was impressed as soon as I opened the box. All the parts were neatly contained in three foam "shelves" with precise, numbered, cutouts for the parts.

The precision of all the components is really impressive. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out the wiring connections, but apart from that, the assembly went perfectly and I now have a great working model of a diesel engine.

My career started in a diesel engine factory 60 years ago and I have been directly involved with diesels ever since. So, it is with some authority that I can honestly state that this is an excellent model and the best that I have seen.
