This is my fourth sterling engine it arrived well ahead of schedule meticulously package and ran without any issues right out of the box. In the four transactions I've had with this company I find them to be 100% reliable.As they are out of hit and miss engines I am told a new shipment will be arriving before long and awaiting their notification advising when I can place the order. Not only is it fun to watch these engines run, it's also fun, unpacking them. Irv

Received but very Disappointed

Waste of my hard earned money.. My 11 yr son wanted this badly. It took over a month to arrive (much anticipation building). We were very excited to finally get it but it will not run. We've followed instructions to a T, have tried getting it hotter than hot and worked at repeatedly spinning the fly wheel by hand, for days and days but still haven't ever gotten it to run. My son has been so very disappointed. A refund would be wonderful to get.

You get what you paid, so catch me if you can.

Engine is running ,,smoothly'' (which means it is running continuously, but vibrations are terrible - it moves whole thing across my table). It is relatively quiet (in comparison with similar sized gasoline engine). Generator is not perfect, output pins are too small and fragile, but you can overcome this by simply atach some wires to it and connect load on that wires. Surprisingly, output voltage is very stable and with buck boost DC/DC converter is easy to get USB voltage. I dont try to use it for powering something with USB yet, but I meassure output voltage and short circuit amps and maybe it will be ok to small powerbanks.

Ethanol burners not bad, just for refilling some needle is required (or very calm nerves).

Packaging and waiting time good, some spare parts in the box.
