Key Points:
- V1-45 Flame Licker Eater Single Cylinder Stirling Engine Model Motor Power Generator Physical Discovery Kits
- 45 Degree Structure with 304 stainless steel, SOHC motor, and motorcycle engine & single camshaft, excellent design
- Working Theory: burning alcohol lamp provides heat power to make the expansion of gas inside, then the gas molecular internal power increasing and working strongly to the flywheel
- With the help of the flywheels, heat energy will convert into mechanical work
- Speed range: 300-2000RPM (Lasting 2 hours)
- Great educational toy, classroom or laboratory experimental teaching aids, cultivate children'sinterest in physics, more intuitive and easy to understand
- Great gift for your friends or families; also a super addition for home decor
- A stirling engine is a heat engine that operated by cyclic compression and expansion of air or other gas (the working fluid) at different temperatures, such that there will be a net conversion of heat energy to mechanical work
Tips:
1, After using it, please let the engine natural cool. Don't touch the alchohol burner, burned tube or the metal to avoid scald.
2, 95% alcohol (self-prepared) should be used in the operation. Water, kerosene, gasoline, lighter oil, and liquor should not be added.
3, The Stirling engine model is suit for people over 14 years old. Operate under adults' supervision.
Description:
Material: Stainless Steel + Brass + Aluminum Alloy
Speed range: 300-2000 (continuous running time: 2 hours).
Body material: aluminum alloy anodizing treatment.
Accessories material: stainless steel, copper.
Cylinder material: copper.
Flywheel material: brass, precision processing.
Fuel: 95% alcohol (the ignition position of the wick is above the suction port).
Cooling method: forced air cooling.
Lubrication method: drip lubrication (0.5ml of lubricating oil is required to be injected with a syringe from the suction port, once starting and once running for 30 minutes).
Lubricating oil: kinematic viscosity (50 ℃), 2 mm/s (6 ~ 10 GB/T265.
Maintenance: free of disassembly and maintenance, use a syringe to add alcohol fluctuation flywheel to clean the cylinder and then pour it out, and clean the lubricating oil twice. The engine cannot be cleaned to avoid burning by alcohol.
Packing: Carton
Package Content:
1 x Flame Licker Eater Vacuum Engine Model
It reached me after 1 month, the most time about 1 week was the way from Budapest (Hungary) to Vienna (Austria)! I drive this with my car in three hours! The package had no damages. The alcohol tank leaked, but no problem with use of a 2 compound adhesive. The wick was to short, it dont reach the bottom, i used the sparewick. I had to adjust the valveway, now it opens and closes full way. I had to adjust the crankshaft, it was out of the middle. The piston worked harder and harder, if it becomes hot. I abraised and polished it. Now it works very smooth. At least after some fine tuning over all, it works fine without problems!
Love this thing! runs well.. it does like to be cleaned after each use , i expect that to improve as it breaks in.
both end rods of the crankshaft are bent and the slide valve is bend and had to be replaced (spares are supplied). the fuel tank is also a little bend out of position. this little engine needs more than bubble wrap to secure in in the box. With a little luck it will run after changing out the bend rods.
