Much Enjoyed gift for a teenager

This was one of the first of the Christmas presents that were "played" with. It was too easy to assemble for my liking, but opened a number of avenues for exploration starting with troubleshooting pressure issues that caused hoses to pop off, through measuring changes in DC output in response to changes in gear ratio, to using the steam-powered generator as a DC Power Supply for a simple electrical circuit. Still unimplemented are using this as a basis for a steam-powered ras Pi.

Nice little engine

The kit arrived in good order. As this is a birthday present, it has not yet been built. I am sure that it will work as advertised. Enginediy engines always do. I am looking forward to its construction.
