1. 16 CYLINDER STIRLING ENGINE----The engine consists of 8 hot cylinders and 8 cold cylinders. Metal propeller on the front for quick rotation, with solid wood base, can be operated for a long time without damage. Besides, the tube has been upgrade to Quartz Glass, which will be much easy for operation.
2. STRONG PERFORMANCE----As an external combustion engine, it avoids the explosion of traditional internal combustion engines to achieve high efficiency, low noise, low pollution and low operating costs.
3. UNIQUE SMART DESIGN----A floating bead connects 8 cylinders and their pistons. It is driven by the motor power of hot air. It is hard to believe that it is an engine model, super cool, 8 cylinders, 8 heating tubes, 8 fire exits ignite the flame onto the stainless steel heating tube, cool.
4. HIGH-TECH ORNAMENT----Aerodynamics has rich physics knowledge, intuitive engine principle, educational toys, teaching experimental equipment can effectively cultivate children's learning interest, can also be a high end collection gift for engineers or engine lovers.
5. PRIORITY GIFT OPTION FOR MANY APPLICATIONS----It is an amazing and fantastic product at this price. Its elegant gift package makes it spruce up and presentable. It has a wide range of application as, great gift for Kids' science project, Physical/mechanical learning, teacher’s Demo props on the class, birthday gift for friends, families, parents, kids, etc. Many of our customers come from school, colleague, etc.
Description:

1. The 16 cylinder Stirling engine model switches the flywheel by hand in the horizontal position to see if it is smooth. If there is strong sensation, check if the connecting rod is normal, whether there is oil cylinder and dust. If it so, please use toilet paper to erase it. Switching the flywheel feels that the pressure rebound in the cylinder is normal, the cylinder is sealed .
2. Add the fuel to the tank (The fuel for this engine is butane gas, which is not included into the package, as this may cause trouble for shipment).
3. Press the button to the fuel tank, dial the above valve, ignite, wait for about 30 seconds to heat .
4. Give propeller a gentle rotate, then it will starts running. ( There is a knob to asjust the firepower in the fuel tank, but for this model, we don't recommend to do the adjustment, please notice! )
5. Close the valve, turn off the fire, be careful, be sure to wait until the natural cooling touch the heating cylinder, so as not to burn.
I have gotten it to run for short periods though you have to make continuous contact with the trigger mechanism to enable fuel to flow (the locking mechanism does not seem to do anything but "all on" or "all off" and "all on" is too much fuel) and you have to very carefully regulate the fuel flow because the whole assembly leaks butane from multiple points in the fuel line and will cause some interesting fireballs during normal operation.
Would give it 4 stars if the tubing was re-designed to use metal piping with better seals at both ends. When the fireballs happen, they also have an unfortunate tendency to melt the rubber tubing! Still, when it works, it can generate a fair amount of RPMs on the prop. If the pitch of the propeller blades could be set with a screwdriver, I would give it 5 stars!
You don't see something like this every day. Seems to be well built. The only improvement I can think of is a throttle, but otherwise a very interesting piece.
Fully assembled and ready to run sterling engine that is nicely constructed and fun to watch. My only disappointment was that it wasn't kit and I so missed the enjoyment of putting it together,
Nicely build model.
Arrived with much delay because of shipping issues between U.S. and China and the pandemic so that was unavoidable. I was befuddled in figuring out how to start the engine as there were no instructions. After searching the internet I was able to deduce that unlike what I saw on the website this engine has a push button ignition which is actually very cool! No need for lighters. The engine is slow to warm up however and it takes some tilting to get the flame cones hot enough to keep it running. Other stirling engines I own are easier to get started. Once running however, it is an amazing little motor which is very impressive to all who have seen it. Overall I’m quite happy and the craftsmanship is excellent. I would buy from Enginediy again.
