For some of us, making a cyclotron can be fairly easy. However, even my best builds do not last as long as the cyclotron’s made by this company. I’ve also purchased very similar 6 coil cyclotrons in the past from other companies. They are inferior in my opinion and do not run as long.
I use mine outside of the classroom for home lab experiments. I can run mine for hours to help facilitate electro-magnetic fields.
When working with a very large magnetic base, I recommend to not to use the ball bearings, and to keep it plugged into a surge protector. If you plan to incorporate one of these cyclotrons with a small machine, make sure there is an internal fan in place as they do not have a cooling system. This prevents burning out the circuitry over long use.
If living in the United States, remember that these cyclotrons will come from overseas. The wait time is very little and well worth it. I’ve purchased 3 for my home laboratory already, and value the craftsmanship. Reviews are not something I do very much, but I felt this company deserves the respect. Blessings!
