Enjoyable!

I got it for my 6 years old niece. We had so much fun making it and learning together about steam engines. She was so happy and enjoyed the process of building the engine.

Totally cool, BUT....

The description says English instructions. Not so. Hence loss of star. However, the pictures in the Chinese language manual along with the assembly video here on the site were sufficient to make it go. Birthday present for a 9 yr old. He and his mom assembled and ran the steamy. He is totally pumped about this engine

Awesome product

Used it for home schooling to teach the kids about phase changes and energy. This was such a fun demonstration. It also helped lead into more discussion on how combustion engines work as well as compressors. Great little product. One suggestion would be to show a better close up of the piston assembly. I wasn’t able to get it to turn on my first attempt but realized I needed to rotate one piston 180 degrees about its axis and reassemble to the yoke to get it to hold the steam better and then it was off and running!

Fun Toy - For Adults and Kids Alike!

During the plague I figured it would be fun to tinker around with models. This toy is simple to put together, and is well worth the $30 for it. Wouldn't pay much more for it than that, and elsewhere on the internet it was much more expensive than here. Would recommend!
