The low temperature Stirling engine is designed with a special double flywheel, the space of the Stirling engine model is square. Place the Stirling engine kit on a flat table during operation, use a flat water cup with an outer diameter of less than 88mm, and pour the boiling water inside, heat about 20 seconds and start by hand.

Solid and well-built engine
This was the second low temperature stirling engine I've bought. This unit cost almost twice what my previous engine cost and the price was reflected in much sturdier construction and smoother operation. The one drawback is the feet on which the base rests. The feet are located at each corner and project about 1 cm below the bottom plate. The feet severely limit the size of cup with which the engine can be used.

Especially nice looking. Very well made. Ignore the video. Give it at least half a minute before you give the flywheel a spin to start it. The heat has to build up on the bottom plate and that takes a little wile. I was able to get over a half hour run from a mug of boiling water. I ordered 3. One for myself and 2 as gifts. I plan on ordering a few more as gifts.
