Note: The battery needs to be prepared. The engine is equipped with a 480 brushed DC motor, can use 2 ignition modules directly. I regret purchasing the "base" because ALL of the holes were to small, and the connection for the wire to on/off switch and pushbutton starter was not accessible.
I regret purchasing the "starter kit" because this kit was not going to start this engine. Additional components, wires/cables and a wiring diagram is required.
I like this engine but to obtain the step-by-step instructions was a hassle. There was multiple requests and multiple poor excuses as to why its not available. A e-mail with attachment (instruction) was finally sent.
Recommendation: Don't purchase the base and starter kit. Purchase this engine if you are familiar with the "fuel" type engine.
