Really nice but with some birth defects

Aesthetically and technically it is a beautiful engine. Unfortunately I encountered several difficulties during the functional tests. First the starter gears were not to proper tolerance and did not slide. Being able to adjust the ignition timing is really difficult. The spark plugs almost all broke because they were defective (Enginediy supplied me with 4 new ones under warranty). However, I've never heard the engine running on petrol, it never started well. I converted the ignition to glow and methanol to 25% nitromethane and now the engine runs really well. However, I had to review the tolerances of the water pump turbine, as it got stuck rubbing on the bottom of its seat. The last problem I encountered was an inaccurate flatness of the crankcase which prevented the correct tightening of the head, causing the gasket to break several times during operation. I also solved this problem by retouching the top (Lucas promised to send me some new gaskets). Now the engine runs very well, has a perfect idle and has a lot of anger. I also ordered the intake manifold they supply as an upgrade, improving the running.
