I built this with my 3 year old son. The kit is well made and of high quality materials. The packaging and organizing of parts is excellent. The clock does work, one rotation of the hand is 50 seconds. It will run for a few minutes before the weight reaches the table. My only suggestion is they incorporate a method to "wind the clock". The only way I can figure out is to hold the ratchet dogs with one hand and turn the lower blue gear with the other.

I bought this for my 10-year old grandson. I’m giving it four stars because as precise as this may be, when assembled, it came with a manual in Chinese. I scoured the internet and found a translated version.
There is a USB driver inside the package, we have put the English instruction inside. Please check for it.
